Says there is no Hope in Buhari’s Judiciary System
With about 27 victory chunning out from Akwa Ibom Tribunal in favour of People Democratic Party PDP in the State Assembly and National Assembly elections, APC Gubernatorial candidate Mr Umana Okon Umana has given up on his petition against Gov Udom Emmanuel,PDP and INEC at Akwa Ibom Election Tribunal.
He made this known via his twitter handle and Facebook page with a succumbing statement; “Any hope for our judiciary”. He said he has lost faith in APC lead Federal Government Judiciary.
A respected political scientist in University of Uyo who does not want his name in print said that Umana may be preparing for an appeal which He (Umana) knows he will not win.
He further said that the case against Umana versus Udom is dead on arrival since Akwa Ibom people voted for Udom Emmanuel as their governor in a free and fair contest.
A political analyst Mr Mfon Akpan says that the leadership of APC is not concerned with the outcome of Akwa Ibom State Election Tribunal, because as a party that has no tolerance for corruption, Mr Umana Okon Umana is seen as a very corrupt and power intoxicated.
Akpan also predicted that the outcome of the Governorship Election tribunal will not be different from the State and National Assembly were PDP has about 27 victories.
